Philosophy:
It is in the midst of chaos where the most growth and opportunity can occur. I believe that the turmoil we experience as human beings can exist in both our internal and external worlds. We can experience upset, hurt, and sadness in our families, relationships, occupations, and sometimes even within ourselves. This external unrest can create internal chaos that can make us feel anxious, sad, angry, and confused. As children, adolescents, and adults this unrest can manifest in the form or anxiety, depression, emotional disturbance, and behavioral issues, creating instability in everyday living. As your counselor, I like to work with you to develop coping skills that work for you and can contribute to the well-being of you and your family.

About Brittany:
I hold a Masters degree in Clinical Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado. I completed my clinical internship with Arapahoe Douglas Mental Health Network and continue to work as a therapist at ADMHN. I am a Nationally Certified Counselor working towards my license in Colorado (LPC) as well as a certified yoga instructor and can incorporate yoga into sessions if you desire.  I have experience working with anxiety disorders including GAD (generalized anxiety disorder), panic disorder, depression, mood disorders, life transitions, relationship struggles, and self-esteem growth. My theoretical orientation is eclectic but primarily stems from a Client Centered Approach, believing that people can work through their difficulties in a nurturing and empathetic environment.
